General Services

What types of projects do you handle?

  • Get your home maintenance, repairs, and upgrades handled with ease. If you’re facing a unique challenge, we’re ready to tackle it. Check out the Services page for common tasks, and if your project isn’t listed, just ask!

Are there any tasks you don’t do?

  • Of course!  For anything outside our scope, you’ll be connected with trusted tradesmen to ensure you get the results you want.

Scheduling & Lead Times

How soon can you get started on our project?

  • Larger projects are usually scheduled within 1-2 weeks.  For smaller tasks, we can often fit you in sooner if needed, sometimes within 24 hours.  Just let us know, and we’ll do our best to make it happen!

Estimates & Pricing

Do you charge by the hour or the job?

  • Estimates are provided to give clarity and avoid the uncertainty of hourly rates. This way, there’s no need to wonder, “How long will this take?”  It ensures a clear understanding of your investment, allowing you to focus on the results you want rather than the time it might take to get there.

How do you provide estimates?

  • If you can provide photos and a description of what you’d like done, ballpark options can be provided for free.

Do you do a pre-visit to determine what material is needed for the job?

Are there any hidden fees?

  • No hidden fees here!  As long as the work stays within the agreed scope, the estimate stays the same.  If something unexpected comes up, like during demolition, we’ll talk through the options and provide an updated cost before moving forward. Transparency first, always!

Materials & Supplies

Should I purchase materials or will you provide them?

  • It’s totally up to you!  If you have specific fixtures in mind, like ones with lots of options, ordering from Amazon and having them shipped directly to you works great.
  • For other building supplies, if you’d rather not worry about what’s needed to complete the project correctly, we’re happy to provide them and keep things simple.

License & Insurance

Do you have a business license & insurance?

  • Yes, we do!  Learn more at our legal page.

What are my risks hiring someone unlicensed or uninsured?

  • Shoddy Workmanship: Low-quality work that might need to be redone.
  • Safety Hazards: Unsafe installations and repairs can put you and your family at risk.
  • No Insurance: You could be liable for injuries or damages.
  • Legal Troubles: Hiring unlicensed contractors can result in fines and legal issues.

 

Do you have a plumbing contractor license?

  • No, we have a great plumber to recommend.


An electrical contractor license?

  • No, we have a great electrician to recommend.


An alarm contractor license?

  • No, we do not have a recommendation (yet).

After Service Support

What if I notice an issue after the job is done?

  • We always aim to get things right the first time, however if something needs a little extra love, Please let us know! Reach out to Ed Longley directly at 561.318.3478. We’ll make sure to resolve it quickly.
  • We stand behind & in front of our work!  Until you’re completely happy with the results, our job isn’t done.

Do you offer any guarantees or warranties?

  • All our labor and materials provided include a 4 year warranty.

Cleaning & Final Touches

Do you clean up after the job is finished?

  • The work are will be swept up or vacuumed after the job, though we admit, we “clean like boys.”

Can you provide deeper cleaning if needed?

  • We’re currently looking to partner with a cleaning service for those who might want a more thorough, deep clean after our work is done.  Let us know if you have a recommendation!

Special Requests & Custom Projects

Can I request custom projects or modifications?

  • Some of the best ideas come from clients!
  • Your project will be uniquely yours, with results that match your vision perfectly!

Do you handle emergency or last-minute jobs?

  • Sometimes things just can’t wait. For urgent or last-minute jobs, we’ll do our best to accommodate your schedule.
  • Let us know what you need, and we’ll find a solution that helps save your valuable time!

Payments & Invoicing

What payment methods do you accept?

When is payment due?

  • Any deposit would be due to begin the process of securing materials and supplies to complete your job.
  • Final Payment is due upon completion of the job.
